UCA Integrated Health Sciences Building
The new Integrated Health Sciences Building is a four story 80,000 S.F. facility houses portions of multiple disciplines in the Health Sciences, including the Communication Sciences and Disorders department and the School of Nursing, allowing each program to greatly expand. The disciplines share a fully functional multi-specialty community clinic on the ground floor. The clinic, associated with a nearby hospital, serves the Conway area and provides a valuable clinical student interface with actual patients. This new state of the art teaching facility includes 6 large classrooms. The third-floor houses fully-functional and realistic simulation suites, where robots and trained actors will provide the students with real-life medical scenarios. Student life is enhanced with generous locker rooms, lounge, study & collaboration spaces. While the fourth floor is dedicated to the teaching staff with multiple collaborative breakout and support areas.
