Arkansas Neuroscience Institute Education and Research Center
The Arkansas Neuroscience Institute Education and Research Center is a two-story, 42,770 square foot Medical Office Building located on the CHI St. Vincent North Campus in Sherwood, Arkansas. The building is developed in partnership with NexCore Group out of Denver Colorado and Catholic Health Initiative. This building was developed as the new home for the Arkansas Neuroscience Institute (ANI) in order to allow them to grow to become one of the key destinations for neuroscience in the country.
ANI occupies the 27,520 sf 1st floor and features their clinic space, auditorium, micro-dissection lab, and administration suite. The clinic space hosts 11 exam rooms, collaborative staff work areas, 2 doctors offices, and a teaching suite. The 8,589-sf lobby and auditorium allow ANI to host large functions and seminars. The 150-seat auditorium features multi-screen 3D projections and is connected to the 4 operating rooms in the main hospital for live real-time observations. To conclude the ANI floor plate is their 10,828-sf research and administration suite. The space is designed as a large open collaborative work space with group work areas and private doctors’ offices. The research suite also hosts a large meeting room which is has the flexibility to be a conference room for staff or a classroom for students.
The 15,250-sf second floor is designed to support up to potentially (6) 2,000-sf medical office suites. The design of the building fenestration seeks to provide an optimal layout for adaptation of the floor plate in the future as tenant might change.
