The 195,000 square foot addition at White County Medical Center accurately created a new full service hospital to sustain their continuous improvement of quality patient care. The building program included, new nursing units for cardiovascular and intensive care, medical surgery, women’s services, renovated and new surgical suite including new heart and laminar flow operating rooms, outpatient clinical services, renovated and expanded emergency department, renovated and expanded radiology services, administration suite, kitchen / dining facility and a five story “beacon of light” atrium.
